Queen Of Death

Salahadin El Nur is an Inspector in the Egyptian police. His job is to protect Egyptian Antiquities. He was a detective. His assistant is Leila Osman. Leila, like Salahadin was agraduate of Cairo University. Leila was twenty seven, six younger than Salahadin.In August, Salahadin went on holiday to London. On Saturday evening, when he was in Piccadilly to buy a postcard for Leila, he noticed a book that interested him. The title of the book was “The Mystery Of Queen Axtarte” and the name of the author was Dr John Farrow.Next day, Salahadin meets Dr Peter Earl to ask him about Farrow. Dr Earl tells Salahadin that Farrow has just flown to Cairo and shows him an article published in The Sunday Times which has a title “The Tomb Of The Queen Of Death”. Salahadin decides to go back to Cairo,  but before going back, he sends a telex about Farrow to Chief Inspector Ahmed Abbas and another telex to Leila from the Egyptian Embassy in London. Next morning in Cairo, Salahadin sees Professor Gomouchian. They talk about Queen Axtarte. Then Gomouchian tells Salahadin about the Curse Of Queen Axtarte. Meanwhile, Leila and Ahmed are at the Hotel Mirabel (the hotel where Farrow and his wife are staying)speaking to the manager of the hotel. They don’t find too much there, only ‘The Mystery Of Queen Axtarte’ book. Forty minutes later, Salahadin opened the book. He finds a piece of letter. It is a message from Mr. Farrow, he wants everybody who read this message can helphim to solve the problem. And Salahadin is the chosen.In the desert, Farrow, Keesing, and de Fries seek The Tomb Of The Queen. Keesing and deFries threaten that Greer will kill Farrow’s wife if Farrow doesn't tell them where the tomb is.Finally, Farrow confesses where the tomb is, but he doesn’t want to be near that tomb whenit’s opened. De Fries is the one who opens the tomb, and immediately dies because he getsinfected by the germs of a terrible disease in the tomb.Back in Cairo, Leila and Ahmed search for Farrow’s wife or Christine Farrow in a Europeanpart of Cairo, who is called Heliopolis.Keesing also finds the tomb, and Dr Jusef Strengel too, because he follows Keesing.Strengel has one of the largest private collections of Egyptian Antiquities in the world.Strengel also wants that tomb. Then Strengel takes the tomb and kills Keesing, butSalahadin arrives on time with other police to save Farrow and keep that tomb in the rightplace. Strengel also died because he infected by the germs in the tomb. Farrow’s wife canbe saved and Greer caughted.
